From classroom to professional kitchen: inspiring chefs at ISAC

In the world of gastronomy, knowledge gains true value when it is passed on with passion. At ISAC, that passion is felt every day in our kitchens—not only from the students, but also thanks to our instructors: chefs with real industry experience who have chosen to return to where it all began to share their expertise.

Some of them are proud graduates of the Instituto Superior de Alta Cocina. They know the rhythm of our classrooms, the character of our students, and the challenges of training in a border city. And precisely because of this, today they are exceptional guides: not only teaching techniques, but also accompanying personal processes, life decisions, and key moments in the professional training of Juárez’s future chefs.

A community that transforms from within
Having teachers who were once students is no coincidence—it is part of what makes ISAC special. Our community is nourished by stories that return, by talents that blossomed in our classrooms and today have become role models. It is not just about teaching classes, but about inspiring by example, showing that it can be done, and that the path to excellence is within reach for those who choose to work with discipline and dedication.

Learning from those who have already lived the industry
Our instructors don’t teach from theory alone: they have cooked in renowned restaurants, led brigades, designed menus, and faced the real world of professional kitchens. In every class, students receive a dose of reality, strategy, creativity, and above all, motivation. Because when the person teaching you has already been in your place, the lessons take on a whole new meaning.
